Remodeling

I want to tear everything down from the walls of my room.

My room is stuck in between stages in my life and it draves me crazy.

My room at school is always designed so nicely.

Home is like a miss matched clutter.

So Im slowly going through it all and Im just throwing useless junk out, trying to create some sort of consistency or theme.

We’ll see how it goes.

a little bit every day

Im getting back into my workout routine of this summer.

Its always hard the first couple of days, but then once you start, you question why you ever stopped.

The important thing I have learned is to not be as hard on myself. As long as I do something every day, I will feel great.

Now if I can only get in the habit of practicing piano…

This is Not the Way it Should End Its the Way it Should Begin

Change is scary because it is unknown.

We are scared to leave our daily routines because we have grown fond of the predictability of it all.

But change is good.

Change is necessary.

Change makes life interesting and it makes you stronger.

I go back to school tomorrow for the last time ever.

And its scary.

But I know it will fly by.

And soon I’ll be living a life of the unknown.

But we will cross that bridge when we get there…

So here is to a successful year.

A creative year.

A happy year.

A year full of ups and downs.

Here is to a year spent with the people that make you happy.

After all, life is short. So be with the ones that make you happy and make you smile.

Be with the ones that make you laugh until your sides hurt, but are also there when you need cry.

Im excited.

Im scared.

Im sad to be leaving my loved ones.

Im heartbroken to be leaving my boy… and my best friend.

But it is all good.

It all happens for a reason.

And what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

So here is to new beginnings and a great last year.

Prayer Flags

Bobby and I put some prayer flags from Bhutan  up at my cottage in York, Maine.

I feel that the cottage has been the place of so many memories and so much love.

Prayer flags need a home in a place with such energy.

I remember feeling so moved by the prayer flags in Bhutan because they symbolize a place that someone felt spiritually connected to the world around them.

I sat on the picnic table each morning of my vacation and just said little wishes and prayers for the people I love the most in this world.

I hope my prayers are heard.

All we can do is keep breathing

I’m down 7 lbs. since i began exercising every day and eating right.

I feel great.

What first seemed like a hassle (going to the gym) has now become part of my schedule.

I don’t know if I necessarily want to lose any more weight, but I want to continue to keep up with the gym and healthy eating habits.

I figure if I continue, my body will naturally form into what it should be.

All I know is that I feel happy inside and out. And Im so glad my body is finally as happy as I am.

:)
